This is my OC, Raefon. I designed him for a novel series I am currently writing, North Country: [link] .
In his language, Ildielo (which I also designed) he is known as a Cyesaar Saekeir, or a superior gold dragon lord/king.
When I started drawing him, I had no idea how big this drawing was going to get. I just had to keep adding paper. I think this thing ended up being about 35 by 35 inches. All the scales took forever, especially since I textured and shaded each one individually. I worked on it off and on for a couple months.
